Michael Williams is a true powerhouse vocalist - a singer’s singer - with impressive range and control that very few possess.  He can deliver soft tenderness in one phrase and follow the next with grit and an explosion of near manic power.  His love of the repertoire of the Blues Power Revue featuring The New Blues Brothers is only matched by his showmanship and the unbridled enthusiasm that he brings to his onstage persona, Elwood.  He was raised on Rhythm and Blues.

Michael has played with many of the area’s top musicians and singers, including Vail Johnson, Kurt Kolstad, Terry Lauber, Dave Raynor and many more.  With a development deal from Warner Brothers Records he moved to New York City where he spent time in performing in clubs, recording and working in several off Broadway productions.  For many years he was a first call vocalist for commercial ensembles and lead work, serving up jingles and corporate soundtracks for companies like Boeing, Microsoft, Key Bank, Sea First Bank and Safeway.  He has traveled the world with several top-flight bands providing entertainment to our troops overseas through the auspices of the USO and released a solo CD entitled “The Best Is Yet to Come” to critical acclaim.  Recently he has joined the Seattle based recording artists known as “Gabriel” as they have begun recording their fourth album. 

Michael always gives everything he has onstage, cares deeply about his art and even though he is the latest addition to the band, his place in the Blues Brothers is “Signed, Sealed and Delivered”.
